They are at roughly 150 flights per day. With a 2 hr avg stage (more than the 550 scope compliant range probably supports) and an 18 hour op day that’s 8 legs per shell to be conservative; 150/8 = 18 and some change operating tails. I suppose you could throw every round on a new tail and stretch out service intervals if you wanted, but it ain’t a 47 plane op bud.

It was about 150 flights/day a month ago, now down to 120, and less on weekends

They’re not necessarily as dumb as they look; the 550 was actually a TSH pitch to UA, not the other way around. And the deal they got has hooks; they’ve spent the last year or so bloating the op budget for the eventual settlement. HK will get a pile o’ cash and all the loyal boyz will get a sweet kicker to send off retirement.
Just desserts they is not.

I would guess that Mr Gojet is currently spending every waken hour trying to figure out how to take every dollar he can from every employee he can before Gojet goes under. When you go to get a prescription refilled and "for some unknown reason" the pharmacy cannot get it through, that will mean the end is within a couple of weeks or so.

Skywest normally has about 100 capt upgrade slots per month. I'm told the one that came out today had 142 slots on the CRJ and 142 on the ERJ for a total of 284 for Oct. Did the TA get that many to upgrade or will the move to SW begin?

It looks like the rest of the ISA Mesa planes stopped flying on Thursday and are now parked in STL and ORD. I believes that means there are 39 flying and 29 parked.
