Qwerty is right at first glance. But when you factor in the dimension of time you end up with a nightmare. You sign on for the low hourly rate because you are going to get the bonus. But wait, this Hail-Mary pass doesn't work and Gojet closes down. So you worked for a while but don't get the bonus.

I ran into Hulas at a gas station in Ft Lauderdale on Thursday and asked him about GoJet's survival odds. He assured me that there have been nothing but positive developments during the last year. Gojet's plan to "right size the airline" as gone much much quicker than planned. When it comes down to people sitting around doing nothing in a bloated pilot force he assured me that there was none of that anymore. He said not to worry about Gojet overpaying on aircraft leases, in fact, he said not to even worry about Gojet paying the leases at all, whatever that meant. I thanked him for giving me all the good news, gave him my credit card to pay for the gas and candy bar, and I was out of there so he could wait on the guy behind me. So relax everyone, no worries!
