I suppose you’ll next tell us how G7 is going to operate 74 aircraft when they will have less than 100 Captains soon and less than 50 by years end?

But I suppose someone has to go down with the ship, enjoy your ride!
Yep.

G7 is a sinking ship.

Mid level management all jumped ship.

Upper management is pretending everything is fine.

The new hires running the union are imploding.

Luckily there's life boats all around so when G7 announces closure with no notice, everyone will be better off for it. Just grab any life boat.

I ran into Hulas at a gas station in Ft Lauderdale on Thursday and asked him about GoJet's survival odds. He assured me that there have been nothing but positive developments during the last year. Gojet's plan to "right size the airline" as gone much much quicker than planned. When it comes down to people sitting around doing nothing in a bloated pilot force he assured me that there was none of that anymore. He said not to worry about Gojet overpaying on aircraft leases, in fact, he said not to even worry about Gojet paying the leases at all, whatever that meant. I thanked him for giving me all the good news, gave him my credit card to pay for the gas and candy bar, and I was out of there so he could wait on the guy behind me. So relax everyone, no worries!

Laughable considering every other regional has upped their FO pay to pretty much close to Gojets Ca rates.

They all look pretty much the same when you factor in the bonuses. YMMV.

"45 growth aircraft".

That's a demonstrably false statement, as more and more airplanes are sitting parked over by the hangar not being converted, and already converted airplanes are not utilized due to lack of Captains. If anyone is making career decisions based on that statement, they should consult those lawyers that deal with false advertisement.

First Officers are not upgrading to save the airline. First officers are leaving to ULCC and legacies.

Qwerty is right at first glance. But when you factor in the dimension of time you end up with a nightmare. You sign on for the low hourly rate because you are going to get the bonus. But wait, this Hail-Mary pass doesn't work and Gojet closes down. So you worked for a while but don't get the bonus.

From the GJ website: "Personal, Professional and Company growth is a cornerstone of our mission. We want you to succeed in your career and with GoJet's projected growth we will grow together." I would bet this was not even written by someone at GJ but by someone hired to sell GJ to pilots. My 14 years of experience dealing with GoJet I somehow missed seeing how they wanted anyone to succeed in their career. What I saw were managers with unimpressive backgrounds who wanted to show others how great they were because they held power over others. I don't think it has 3 weeks left.
