If TSA had put the larger planes on their certificate they would have instantly lost ALL AMR Flying for AA/AE. The AA APA scope clause would not allow the larger jets. They had to go on another cetificate. That being said.... the way it was done was just completely wrong.

I find it hard to believe that the same management who wasn't going to pay TSA, 70 seat rates, is for Gojets. How do you explain that Laxflier? Why can't people just admit that that the whole debacle wasn't handled properly and move on? Also, I find it ironic that TSA guys are talking about a merge now that things are ok with the contract and the 70 seat pay. Way to bring the industry down Gojet pilots.

The merger is a rumor. And those TSA guys that you speak of are the ones that have been here for 6 months and don't really care about anything as long as they maintain a job be it TSA or a***ole jet.

I know it's a rumor and in fact it's impossible unless there is a shake up with AMR flying. I'm still waiting for Laxflier.

Hey! If we merge, that means I move down a the list. Eff that noise. Let 'em fly their 70-seaters, and I'll stick to my jungle jet thank you very much. As long as screw scheduling doesn't call to deliver that F-word notice, I'm happy... ish.

Btw, after flying the american side of stuff for two and a half months, coming back to the united side of stuff sucks. sat in the 1R pad at delay-us (dulles) for 2 hours plus change. to make things more interesting, pack 1 was deferred. it was hawt!
