What is the junior base? Any idea how long until STL could be held? What would the average trip out of STL look like? Anyone have any info on reserve length?

Thanks

Thats mutual there gramps. Go fly your corporate jet and wack off to the idea of being in a 777.

1. The one you get out of training.
2. Why would you want it?
3. It would look like an ASA or Comair trip but it would have GoJet on the top of it.
4. All month.

Hope this helps.

I'm 27 so I don't think I fall into the category of gramps. I did 4 years at an airline and the last two doing corporate and I will be the first to tell there is much more to learn. A little humility and respect can go a long way for someone like yourself. I don't define a good career as flying a 777 like you do, but maybe you are just trying to compensate for something. I will also take my working 1-2 days a week and 1-2 overnights a month over your schedule any day. But I'm sure you already know all of this since you are so smart and all knowing.

The fact that you use the term "gramps" as a means of disrespecting someone shows your immaturity.

It appears this a trend among most GoJet pilots that probably stems from the GoJet hiring process.

From what I've heard, a GoJet interview consists mainly of whether they like you or not, nothing else. You wont see much of a cognitive, sim or technical evaluation...

A GoJet interview compared to a Skywest interview is similar to a private pilot stage check compared to a CFI checkride.

There are some different characters, no doubt. Some are very strange, but a majority are good people and easy to work with.

I jump sat on another regional carrier once and the captain put on a pair of white gloves before push back. The airline in question is irrelevant, but my point is - there are weirdos at all of them.

You're right with that interview comparison. When I interviewed it was nothing more than a conversation and a finger flown approach. I think I described a system from an aircraft I had experience in, but that was it.

I've been told Skywests interview is much more detailed. They also have a better training program and pass rate as well.

I jump in with Red Forman here, do you want to compare:

W-2s?
Bonuses?
Vacation Days given?
Days worked?
Retirement program?
Points earned at Marriott? Hilton? Hyatt?

Which one or combination?
