GoJet is the scum. The chief pilot DC wants to get people in the door to meet the quotas set by Delta. They have to have 40 on reserve to get more flying in each base. They dont care how they get them. And they over hire per class and then weed out the extras. I know two friends who were fired from G7 without reason...and they had to sign a paper saying this was ok with them.

Thats been common practice all along. I need more than 2 hands to count the people who I know of that that has happened to. It was in inevitable that every week someone would come back to the crashpad that had just been fired. And cue the gojetters either defending this practice or denying this practice in 3..2..1...

I have a friend that is a former Captain at GoJet. He was asked to resign for BS reasons. GoJet probably has a high rate among regionals of fiing pilots for stupid reasons.

Note: BS reasons include "attempting to be involved with the "union" and "requiring the company to abide by the contract"

Ever been to the other side of the world?

Exactly. This isn't an uncommon thing to do.

Heard gojet mentioned in the cockpit of a major last night for the first time. Wasn't a very long convo...went like this FO "gojet took all the flying" CA "who is gojet?" FO "trans states made them to circumvent their pilot group" CA "oh". That was it.
