Said this one today without even realizing what I said until it was to late.
Using the ILS 20 as a back up flying into IDA Just passing JENNY Int.

ATC: " Flight 123 say position."

Me: " Well we're just coming inside JENNY"

Take if for what it is or edit it if you need to.

tower: Cessna XXXX say intentions.

Cessna XXXX: (in a chinese accent) I want to be airbus captain. Get married and have babies.

Every time that controller would ask for intentions everyone that heard the story would imitate this guy. She got so tired of it...

SDF at night, approach control had cleared two Night Cargo SD3's for approach. A UPS flight was inbound and the controller said:

SDF Aproach: UPS XXXX, I always wanted to say this. You are number three for the vis 35R. Follow the pair of Shorts ahead of you.

One afternoon we were following a Western 737 into LAX:

Center- Western 543, standby for direct Hector.

543- Roger, 543 standing by. Ah, when you get that, could we have a vector?

Center- Certianly 543, understand you'll need a vector to Hector?

543- Affirmative Center, 543 requesting a vector to Hector...

Center- Roger 543, will have your Hector vector in just a minute...

543- That's great Center, I didn't realize we could get a Hector vector in this sector!

Default Last night in EWR...

EWR Tower: Colgan XXXX, what speed were you assigned?
Colgan XXXX: Ahhh...we were assigned 130 sir.
EWR Tower: I know they didn't assign you 130 knots. Listen, if you boys wanna fly those airplanes in here you're gonna need to learn how to fly 'em!
A lot of of crews got a laugh out of that :d

must have been IOE, none of the crews I fly with have had that plane any less than 10 knots under barberpoll anywhere we go. I am typically limited to the marker at 170 and dont slow down to ref +10 until short final.

It is pretty funny though, EWR is all over us if we are not jet speed everywhere we go and rightly so because we are capable in the terminal environment no problem. The new guys on IOE like to be configured and at 130 kts 8 miles out while riding the glideslope down that they intercepted past TEB.
