This had got to be a joke and is obviously staged. No pilot in his right mind that wants to keep his medical would be able to get away with that delusional announcement more than a few times! I don’t care what airline he works for, If I was flying with somebody that made an announcement like that I would walk off the airplane. Got a good laugh out of it though. Reminds me of something you would hear on a SNL skit.

except he's been doing it for years.

Not really sure why it got deleted. Pretty cut and dry tool of the day behavior. I’m not sure why it would be considered controversial to point out the absurdity/toolishness of that tweet.

Because it will inevitably ignite the red vs. blue flame war. I was not necessarily saying it wasn't toolish.
