Off came the hat, the dude had a pony-tail down to his arse. We actually had some good times as the line bid paired us up routinely.

That guy is now my idol

Flying the barber pole

More of a pet peeve. My USAFR brethren who find themselves with extra gas coming back from a Europe TDY and decide to fly the barber pole for 7 hours on the NATS because nobody is stopping them. Dude, you’re saving like 15 minutes and burning 12,000 extra pounds of gas. You’re not maverick, it’s bad for the environment, and guess who’s paying for it? YOUR tax dollars.

Morale speed!!

Disclaimer: I’m a C130 guy so this is something I’ve only heard of. C130s only speed is slow as crap.

How about they're violating their oceanic clearance by not flying the cleared mach number.....it ain't optional.

I qualify for one of the above. I welcome Capt doosh to try that on me. I will probably ignore him while ordering a cocktail. :D

Had Purser a once that didn't want to serve a what I think was a NetJet
guy. Pretty funny really as he had boarded in uniform but had changed to something more comfortable for a North Atlantic flight. He was up front too. Upsetting for me as I had to actually make a Captain like decision .

So you post on APC that flying is bad for the environment? Did I get that right?
