EXACTLY. I feel like I get a lot more things to happen by simple saying "Xxx request direct OJAYY".. Short and simple.

I don't have an issue with long sleeves personally but it does seem that a higher percentage of guys who wear them are tools.

I can't believe some of you judge someone on whether they wear long-sleeve shirts. Holy crap---and they say WOMEN are petty!

(I think some of you are forgetting some guys HAVE to wear them to cover up tattoos.)

The real tool is the one that set the out time to the beacon which is one of the stupidest possible out triggers.
No, try an out time with doors closed and wheel movement (pushback)! Closed up 10 prior, ready for pushback, but alley jammed? Yeah, you'll be out late.

Try an airline that uses the EFB's GPS to determine a 50ft movement before 'OUT" time is triggered. Stations where you still spin out of the gate and de-ice at the gate...try very late and not getting paid.

I wonder what the FAA would think about that method. It sounds like a systematic way to underreport block time. Maybe a phone call is in order...
