Just for clarity to my previous posting; I was referring to the whoop-de-doo pilot in the video posted originally by "lolwut."
Wouldn’t want any of you fellers ta think I was talking about anyone in the forum.

THE BACKPACK TOOL:

He comes in many forms and has learned to use his back pack to annoy. My personal favorite is when he steps into the last available half a spot on the airport train just before the door is about to close. There is only room for his feet. After the door closes on his backpack and then reopens, triggering that automated "Please allow the doors to close announcement", he then proceeds to spin around in the space with no regard for the face space his 74 pound eurotrash mobile home sized backpack takes up. Someday I'm going to just throw the backpack with or without it's owner attached.

Seriously though, air pockets are a very real threat to us pilots.
Every bad landing I've ever had was due to an air pocket that settled over the touchdown zone.

Most touchdown zones are built right on top of gravity spike areas, like LGA, that's why it even happens in calm air!

Does that gravity spike thingie cause the stray electron between the brain and whichever had has the yoke? Could gravity spikes explain the Airbii's odder moments?

I'm not sure anyone, even Airbus, can explain Airbii's odder moments! I'm sure they'll try to blame it on...Pilot rudder inputs...or the damn trees, but we know it's the Gravity Spikes!

I've nearly been sucked in by many a gravity spike, they seem to be amplified late at night and show up about half way between the bar and the hotel. I know there's a real bad gravity area right ouside Sticky Fingers in Hong Kong. Be careful if you come out of there at 3am! The Gravity is very intense there. Thank God there are also some nice young Asian girls standing nearby that one spot, who will help you get past it, and make sure you get back to your room, they'll even tuck you in...

Such nice girls.

Dude when has the media ever been right about aviation? Most of the time they're lucky if they get the right airline/airport.

Is that the 757NEO? I didn't think they were out until next year.
