My last trip the FLY button was broke, so we had to cancel every flight. :D

Now this here "last row feuding" is bound to get entertaining. I can hardly wait for the expected responses from certain participants that I just know is soooo coming.

Didn't ya'all know the last row belongs to FAs per their eminent domain policy? :rolleyes:

When I JS i do not ask for a single thing (besides water and a place to put my bag), but when a flight attendant tells a revenue passenger that those are practically crew seats thats straight up wrong.
Oh well...i guess there are bigger battles to pick out there.

Departed 22L tonight out of ORD, was cleared to line up and wait.....as we crossed the hold short line I turned on the strobes which is our UAL policy.....Tool in an American Eagle RJ makes the comment on the radio; "nice strobes"

That reminds me... I had my taxi lights on as I turned onto 21R in DTW in the CRJ.

There was a NW DC-9 sitting opposite of us holding short when I was a CRJ captain at 9E. The taxi lights on the CRJ are angled down and quite dim, but they are in the wing root which can confuse some people not familiar with looking at the plane. Well, apparently Captain America over there didn't like that I had it on and turned on all his landing lights in our faces as we lined up. We were seeing spots for a good bit after that.

Classy.

No, it doesn't. We don't eat during the flight because the F/As eat the left over meals, or put an extras in their cooler to take to the hotel or home to their cats.

There's a big difference here. We are paid to sit in our seats and fly, monitor, talk on the radio, navigate, etc. Sitting there and looking out the window and chatting (during non-critical phases of flight) is what is expected of us while at work.

Is sitting in the last row, eating, sleeping, and reading magazines expected of you during a flight? Or should you be serving the passengers who pay our paychecks?

I could have my Chief Pilot on the jumpseat on any given flight and not change a thing. Would you sit on the back row and do the above things with your supervisor on board?

Damn. I'm guessing you're a NOOB in this business.

I have ZERO problem with that. None. This is normal for them and is basically accepted practice at every airline I've ever flown on, if the flight's not too full. Those FA's are given the most God-awful jumpseats to sit in, usually as hard as a wooden plank, and absolutely vertical back rests. My back and ass hurt just thinking about those seats. So, when the FA's are basically finished with their work and have time to relax a bit, I have ZERO issue with them taking a more comfy seat.

Why anybody would complain is beyond me. You and every other passenger were assigned your own seat. Stay in it and don't worry about a seat that wasn't given to you.
