I've seen it done, my favorite was watching the "lady" next to me stuff a dirty diaper into the seat pouch. A sure sign that the world is coming to an end.:)

I nominate MUFAZA for TOTD, telling the co-founder of APC to mind his business and not close his thread:

TSA agent who made me take off my shoes and belt at 0500. If you're gonna make me strip at least feel me up too, it's free at the airport but costs me $200 in Vegas so the joke's on you

You realize that was a joke? He posted the storyline of Ash, the main character from "Pokemon" with a few liberties thrown in.

Sorry I left my uniform shoes at home and this was the only thing I had with me. Better than going in flipflops right? I'll do better next trip I promise.

Not a TOTD nomination, buuuuut, I've gotta say I've seen some *interesting* footwear on airline pilots. Black running and walking type shoes, some of black work boot thing, brown shoes with black pants, and more...(I'm not a good describer of footwear) :).

Never really understood the cowboy boot thing either. ??? I flew with one guy that actually owned and rode a horse, so I sorta get it. But what about everyone else? Are they more comfortable than shoes? At first blush, it seems a bit like mirrored sunglasses. Sunglasses? Good, necessary. Mirrored? Maybe a little over the top.

I imagine there are a few cowboy boot wearers on here, and I'd be honestly interested to know why you prefer them. I could be missing out on something. Like George Costanza and his cashmere.

As soon as I read the title of that thread I *knew* it would be epic. And it was!

Oh for crying out loud - can we have at least a modicum of decorum, professionalism, and pride in wearing a uniform properly? It's really not that hard, find some comfortable loafers that look decent and quit looking like clowns. That ranks up with the crew I saw in ATL a couple of years ago that taxied up to the gate (right next to the food court) with newspapers all over the glareshield. UFB.

A well broken in pair of good boots are very comfortable, and you don't get snow inside your shoes on winter days.
