Maybe it's something they're required to say in their announcements......

Its way better to just make up where you're based anyway. Sheboygan, WI is always a crowd pleaser, as is Ashtabula, Ohio and Loganville, Georgia.

But I never use Kalamazoo. That's the universal safe word.

That's especially effective if its similar. Columbus, GA versus OH and of course Austin vs Boston and Newark vs LGA/JFK.

Some are in a hurry to go no place fast, like the pin head that's in such a rush to climb over you to get into the aisle. Mean while you are in the last row of a jumbo, probably row 100 in the way back of the jet. And guess what... The jet bridge has not arrived at the jet yet!

Les Abend's latest article in Flying magazine. Seems it took him 29 years to realize that legacy aisle donkeys* indeed are drama queens.

TOTD goes to all the engineers who designed hotel rooms with no plugs near the beds. Seriously?! At least one outlet near the bed!

Related to the engineers who designed the Boeing toilet seats that don't stay up.
