I had a former DO who strongly suspected... Our squadron was on a real deployment but he wasn't on it. He pretended like he was, got in a jet, taxied to the end of the runway, and then taxied back after the fanfare died down. I guess his ex didn't count tails. He went home and his fat ugly wife was in bed with the plumber. Good riddance.

I know that guy... He traded up in a big way after he got rid of her.

A DO... who is upper management so to speak, suspects his wife is doing someone else, straps a jet to his back, taxis out and back using tax payers dollars just so he can catch his wife in someone else's saddle... Now who's the tool? I'm sure the base commander was truly impressed with him:rolleyes:

Hope he had his depends if he were stalking his ex before the expensive charade.

And he's employed with who?

C'mon, this is a drop in the bucket. I don't advocate any government waste but this is less than noise compared to the way the government wastes your money in trillions of other ways. Pick another cause.

No kidding, that's good to hear. He was a good guy and she was a fat dirty ho. Glad he upgraded to wife 2.0.

That's what the master chief told me the first I RTBed early with no notice.

Lighten up. From a taxpayer and military perspective it was worth it to resolve a major personal issue impacting a highly trained and expensive-to-replace professional. We fly entire families out to the desert and Europe on rotators all the time.

Well golly gee... been on the reach tour to the garden spots of the world many a time. So your point is?

Doesn't show mental stability. Better ways to resolve while maintaining integrity... Ever hear of a PI?

Each to his own. I probably wouldn't have handled it like that but it wasn't really off the reservation...nobody got shot or anything.

I'm aware it's an old joke, it runs in the mil as well, I've used it hundreds of times. Which is why I added the anecdote.
