At least 3 huge brown stains on a shirt that he probably bought at a consignment store when he got his 1st big shot at Braniff. At least he was sporting a Delta lanyard.

Good story brah. ASSume much?

That's exactly why I have always preferred to work on the weekends, and be home during the week days. I hate crowds, traffic, and standing in line to spend money!:D

Me too! I went against my own "rules" today, though, and wanted to kick myself in the ass TWICE! :)

The idiotic nonrevs who cant help themselves but list for 3 separate flights back-2-back because, well, they want to. Don't they realize they'll be rolled over to the next flight anyway? Makes it so hard to predict the loads. Sucks seeing a flight have 10 open seats, 20 nonrevs, and then in the end only 5 nonrevs get seats, and when you check the flight prior, the other 15 had already gotten seats. All same last name, first initials.

Pretty sure it's illegal at most airlines to double and triple list yourself like that. So that's my TOTD nomination.

To add to the above situation. The pilots that work at a certain airline, but don't list themselves to non-rev on said airline. Just check in for the Jumpseat and head down right away. And with all the no shows and magical seats free up, said pilot could have held a seat in back. Meanwhile, the offline commuting pilot/pilots could have go the JS while the other guy had the seat in back he could have held yet didn't list for.

The secondary tool is the gate agent that is reluctant to check you in for the JS, because "we already have one (two, three)". Said gate agent CANT tell if that JS'er is an FA listed or a pilot listed.

And if it was a pilot, the either cleared on the previous flight under an SA pass, or didn't get on a previous and went to another airline. Yet their listing rolled over.

Hope you don't mind I'll be reaching out to you in late October to see what the loads are from JFK-LAS!
