Everyone has a dude like that if not a few at their company. Flew with a guy that when turbulence would drive the speed up to 254 below 10,0 in the climb he would proceed to turn the autopilot off for an agressive pitch up to correct the horrendous 4kt deviation. Completely out of touch with common sense. They grind your will to live to a pulp. Sympathies.

The regional chief pilot who, at the start of the 25 minute van ride, proceeded to give a predeparture briefing that lasted all the way to the airport. I believe the briefing nearly matched the length of the flight.
And wore his hat while eating breakfast at the crew hotel.
And nearly had an aneurysm when we closed the door 1 minute late because the jet bridge wouldn't retract. You'd have thought the rampers had abducted his first-born.
And best of all: when I stated my opinion that regional pilots are underpaid, replied with a quote from the Bible about the nobility of poverty. I kid you not.
You, sir, are a tool.

All the little juveniles that can't keep their fingers and their immature comments off of 121.5 in US domestic airspace. FOQA catching a few and promptly citing them while also stripping them of their FCC permit and employment.
Another US example of unprofessional behavior from US Regional Air Carriers. Pathetic little boys playing on a radio that may be needed for an emergency.

Nah, regional guys are great to ATC. The 6th grade shenanigans on guard, on the other hand...I wouldn't even mind it so much if it was ever funny. But unprofessional *and* stupid? I hate to tell you guys this, but quoting that stupid, tired YouTube video is really not that funny.
It's alright to have a little fun every now and then but when you have to switch off 2 because there's so much "work work work work" it's a problem.

By the way it's retarded that some chick tried to get her boyfriend through. We all know it. Yeager was an ass. We all know it. Bob Hoover was just a dude. We all know it. And guns have no place on a flight deck. We all know it. Are you gonna take pot shots through the peep hole? Give me a break. Anyone who has a gun on the flight deck is lacking something in their pants to compensate for.
Troll la troll la troll!

Think about that last odd super-religious pilot you last flew with. Substitute God with Allah, and give him a gun to carry around. No thanks.
Worst one I've heard was about 2 weeks ago where somebody was saying "GUUUAAARRRDD" about once every 30 seconds for 5-10 minutes. Finally took a guy saying "your FO should have a spine and learn to speak up and you should set the example" to get them to stop. (Either from laughter or shame.. Probably laughter.)

Amazingly enough, I witnessed all this on a single trip. I kept looking around for a hidden camera, waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop up and scream, 'You've been punk'd!'
