Educated about what issues that apply to airline security? He has offered nothing insults and arrogance.

He doesn't have a SIDA pass.
He hasn't spent a day behind the cockpit door that may involve an FFDO present.
He hasn't a clue about current security weaknesses. Proof is his idiotic comparison to being armed in the OR which is a completely different security issue.
He doesn't have a clue what professional aviators deal with daily. Proof is his idiotic, childish autopilot reference above along with insults.
He has been informed of the security issues involved and why employed aviation professionals cannot respond due to SSI restraints, yet continues to bait and insult.

Don't like the program? Fine, no problem here. As I've also stated, it's not a perfect layer of defense, but it is one.

Crap. He's back. It was getting so pleasant without Dr. Troll's presence for a short time there.

Echo chambers are never good in any profession or industry.

I have a nomination for tool of the day

My neighbor and friend of 10 years, also a Delta pilot.

I have had an app in at Delta for over 10 years. I recently wanted to refresh my online app by updating my LOR'S. So I ask my "good buddy" if he would be willing to update his LOR for me. He says NO......Why?

Because 4 years ago, We went on vacation with him and his wife. A bareboat charter. Because we had planned it for over 6 months and I couldn't get the week off at my crappy regional, I called in sick.

So he can't "in good conscience" recommend anyone who would abuse sick policy.

THAT is where the term "douchbag" originates from

WOW...

Curious now... Does one need to update LORs. Have many written during the lost decade when we were snubbed by everyone.

If you live in an area with many airline pilots, a trial by jury of your peers would at most convict you of involuntary manslaughter, maybe even a citation for practicing assisted suicide without a license if you do well on the stand.
