I'll add to the TSA stories. The lovely agent demanded my coffee go through the screener. Long story short let's say after my luggage came through the belt the coffee not the cup were coming out the other side :p

Question.....why would YOU take liquid through security? And why would SHE even think to allow this? So who's the tool?

There's a guy at Denver Center who always does it, which got Lakers doing it, and we've been training the other controllers to say it. The infection continues to spread.

And they've been saying the same thing in BOS for years but just replace Lakes with Cape Air.

Silly stories, everyone wants to be first.

The Mesaba guys in DTW really got into it...REALLY got into it. I heard from them that it started on the civilian side at Lakes Air in Denver, but originated from prior military controllers.

With a tip of the hat to AngryPilotWife's hubby, I was watching the Military Channel's special on the Blue Angels. They line up abreast and march. Once at "their" jet, it's a snappy salute, 90' turn to board, and a "Seee Ya" to the remaining members of the team who continue until they reach their plane, repeating the 90' peel and "Seee Ya".

Could this be where it started, or just a coincidence?

Noticed that too. I love the JATO thing the C-130 guys do on lead. Got to see the show at Cherry Point MCAS back in 04 I think...good stuff! Cheers

I don't see a problem with "seeeeeee yaaaa" it breaks up the monotony of work day transmissions. :)

While that guy is a definate tool, what suffering are you referring to exactly? Many years ago sure, but not now. Not even close.
