Another pax behaving badly.
.Looks like San Antonio..airline unknown. She sounds like Wanda Sykes! This only took less than 2 weeks since the infamous ual incident. Open season.you friends..open season. I'd post the link but don't know how. :o |

Tool Edward was feeling enabled by the wave of public sentiment in Dr. Dao's favor, probably hoping to be the next social media phenom by calling out the pilot on video (sticking a phone in somebody's personal space might constitute assault though).
Word to the wise, this sort of situation can *usually* be diffused by the crew member before it gets to this point. Didn't see what led up to it, so no way to know in this case. But do us all a favor, press for charges in this sort of situation (even if your employer prefers otherwise). Gotta draw the line somewhere. |

The guy scrolling through his phone while in the pilot sleep room. Turn off your phone in the sleep room! It's meant to be quiet and dark in there! You don't realize how bright your phone really is.

You need to politely ask that asshat to turn off his phone or get out, I believe they think it is totally acceptable in our cell phone world. They just need an occasional reminder that not everyone wants to live in their " have to be constantly plugged in world."

What's the etiquette regarding alarms in the sleep room? I've set an audible alarm knowing I need to wake up for a flight. Kosher? Faux pax? Only other time I've been in there and heard someone's alarm go off was another guy who set an alarm and then snoozed it like freaking 4 times over 20 minutes! That was annoying as hell but then had me wondering...are audible alarms the norm or am I just annoying people with my "one and done"? |

Maybe he didn't handle it like a professional and exacerbated the situation with the pax. I find it incredibly hard to believe, that with the proper decorum and self control, an adult could not diffuse the situation, and/or hand a crazy pax off to the right people. If someone tried to hound me like this I would immediately find other airline employees to circle the wagons and resolve this without raising voices or escalation.
