I nominate the Delta Captain who came up before boarding and did a 5 minute "pre departure announcement" in the gate area. Tool. His clearly memorized speech had some real bombs of jokes too.

Yeah man oh wow what a tool... not.. is it really so bad that someone is putting themselves out there at work and creating a positive customer experience (especially at a time when every turn of the channel seems to spotlight a new negative customer experience)? I've always been the quiet; reserved pilot that evidently is the "right way to not be a tool/professional" according to this a thread but I wish I had it in me to be a little more outgoing like this guy.
