Default Pilots on Instagram

Watch out guys, this DB reporter is calling people out BY NAME and company for their photos posted to IG.

The pilots of Instagram: beautiful views from the cockpit, violating rules of the air ? Quartz

Make your accounts private. (Or stop taking pics in the flight deck...whichever)

And you would lose.

I always think these pics are a dumb move too every time I see them. Besides vanity, what is the point of posting any of these flight deck pics? I even saw a guy post a video on FB of a mom carrying a crying kid off one of his regional flights with the caption "Demon Child." I thought, "What an idiot!" You just posted a video making fun of one of Delta's paying passengers and her family on a public site revealing your own identity at the same time.

Think before you post.

Be smart out there guys, this isnt High School and Facebook 2007 before mom got into it. Take your pics but dont be "that guy". Having a job is better than wooing some cutie follower from Denver youve never met.

There actually is no FAR preventing you from having a camera in the cockpit. Depends on the company you work for most of the time. This guy is a liberal DB! Looking at his other articles he is not a journalist he is just trying to make a stink and risking otherb people's careers for a BS story. He is going to **** off a lot of pilots and make it really hard for himself to fly. He is the definition of a TROLL!!

Good, db's that take selfies on the flight deck should be called out for being gigantic tools, I have a few Facebook friends that do it regularly, oh you're an airline pilot? Cool story bro everyone knows and nobody cares cause your friends are all pilots too.

They're risking their own careers... but the writer is still a jack@ss

All this ig stuff reminds of the character on "mad tv" dressed as a kid always saying "look what I can do!" They'll learn
