Default A321 NEOs to LGB

This is an interesting use of the A321 NEO:

Makes sense - probably will fill it considering the always hectic scene at LAX. LGB is very user friendly - love that retro terminal. Will be interesting to see where other NEOs will be placed...

Aloha did very well out of SNA instead of LAX. People hate driving to LAX and dealing with the outdated terminals. they probably picked LGB because they have a code share with Jet Blue.

At their investor meeting in Dec, Hawaiian said they plan to hit the mid level markets that are under served to Hawaii. Could get interesting since the NEO has 4000 nm range. It could easily make it to DEN, and anywhere west of that.

I imagine you meant the LR form of the NEO and if HA chooses to order or covert some options.

Assuming there is any, does Hawaiian normally give out profit sharing if certain margins are hit? What would a normal profit sharing check look like?

Go to Delta if you want big and consistent profit sharing checks...

5% of annual pretax profits, minus performance bonuses, divided by the pro rata share of W2 wages for each employee group. Or a spam musubi, your choice.
