Hawaiian Hiring up to 30 more
#1642
Not sure where Rama's numbers are coming from, but SD3F8DOG is accurate starting Oct 2019. For a better picture, realize that the junior 330 line holder for October is an October 2017 hire. So, when you get to second year pay, it will be for the minimum of 75 hours per month. (technically, the junior line holder was Feb of 18, but that line is well below 20 something reserve lines)
Once you can hold a line, the company builds the lines with mid to upper 80's. Junior line holder for 321 is a Jun 2019 hire and junior 717 is an April 2019 hire.
If things continue like this, when you get to second year pay:
A330 will make 144.36*75=$10,827 per month
A321 will make 117.9*86 = $10,139
B717 will make 105.85*86 =$9,103

Just to compare taxes, for 2nd year pay (married filing jointly):
California 9.3% plus 7.75% sales tax
Oregon 9.0 % but no sales tax
Washington state 0% but 10.5% sales tax
Hawaii 8.25% plus 4.712% VAT (sales taxish)
If you want to live on the left coast, you will be paying a lot of money to the government...

You don’t get all the state income tax credit anymore on your federal return. Not naysaying, just sayin’. Hawaii, California and Australia shouldn’t have any income tax. They get enough $$$ from tourism and natural resource extraction. That’s none of my business though...

It says you can submit up to 4 recommendation letters, doesn’t have to be from Hawaiian Airline pilots. Can submit it anytime after you apply. I submitted everything, including my resume right after I applied.
Also, wouldn’t worry about how your resume appears after you cut and paste it in. I’m sure it’s just computer scanned anyways. And like you said you send in your resume anyways.

Do you think the overall taxes are higher than Commiefornia, Antifagan and Washington?
