Just curious to see how many guys out there interviewed in January did not get a class date phone call but ALSO did not yet receive a rejection letter. It's sounding like there are more and more of you out there. reply with your interview date ...

FWIW, I think we'll be seeing a new replacement fleet of ATRs before we'll see any E-Jets.

Seriously. We need them. If we don't have a fleet of turboprops at Eagle, then those jobs will certainly be outsourced because AA needs feed from airports that can only be serviced by turboprops. I think one reason why a certain ATR fleet is "getting old" is because money isn't being spent to refurbish them to last another 5 years. Why do that when the plan is to replace them soon anyway?

20 captains per month will be leaving AE plus attrition of about 8 (for now), 28 new pilots per month will be required at AE for at least 12 months for the FT's to be able to leave. Upgrades will go down to 9 years, reserve reduced to 5 years. 12 months from this July, the emergency brake will be engaged and locked in position.
Those new upgrades are now blocking those new hires ability to get the PIC time to go mainline, so dont stay there in the left seat to long. Good thing the company gave out those lime green vests, they have proved to make great targets, just ask the current senior captains.
All the new hires have to do is get enough dumb nuts on the LEC and grieve that the junior pilots are harmed that the senior pilots wont leave and the company will be on your side.
You boys set the stage, get ready to play.
Beagle, no. Let it ride.
