It is something that just states, that you acknowledge that you will get the shot prior to starting at DAL.

Disclaimer: I have not seen it, just what I have been told.

Regarding the Yellow Fever issue, where on the 22 section DAL addendum does it address this? Or is it in another section?

Thanks

Congrats, its a great time to be here. Your qualifications look fine.

Real simple:
Qualifications and connections get you though the door, but you are the only one that can get yourself the job.

FWIW, in late 2007 it was 8 days from Day 2 of my interview to the OK to train, then I was in the 3rd class from that point.

I think folks like 80ktsclamp got the OK TO TRAIN letter during their second week of indoc. So in the beginning its very different then when hiring stabilizes.

I never got an OK to train letter, haha... I wonder if I was ever actually hired? :)

acl65pilot 06-21-2010 06:00 PM

I did not know there was an OK to train letter, I thought it was an "OK to train" status that the hiring department gave you. You were then offered the "opportunity" for employment as a first officer.
