The rocking chair is gone.
Now when you sit down in the waiting room, there are two magazines.
The "Delta Digest" and "Cheerleaders of the SEC".
Which one will you pick up? Choose carefully.

What's the right answer? I would pick up the "Cheerleaders of the SEC" 10 out of 10 times. I've read "Delta Digest" before and it's boring as all hell. Hopefully the cheerleader magazine has pictures.

Why, that's easy. You pick up both magazines, slide the "Cheerleaders" into the "Delta Digest", then lean back and enjoy!

Is this a trick question?
:D

Yes, from a current Delta FO

I filled the DAL app as a "single app" on Airline Apps and now can't get back to the addendum page. The screen gives me the option of starting another app or renewing my subscription.

Anyone else had this problem and found a solution? That $55-$60 for the renewal is a lot of money to us right now. Not un-doable, but definitely requires some extra thought.

Well, remember they're just trying to figure out if you are the kind of person they'd want to spend a 4-day with. I think the choice is easy. :D

I'd hold Cheerleaders of the SEC as high in the air as I could, probably stand up and go lean against the wall while reading it just to make sure everyone knew I was "reading" it.

Oh yeah, I'll copy it, with some liberties:

Dear [FTB's real name]

Congratulations! Your medical and psychological test results have been received and both were acceptable. ( gulp, "acceptable" not "awesome" not "best since 80ktsclamp"???? How did I get hired?) Your background investigation has not yet been completed so your offer of employment remains conditional pending the receipt of the background information. (I bet you didn't do this to ACL people!) This is a normal situation since we must legally allow several weeks for all inquiries to be answered. (he, I wonder how the background went from Buzzpat, "you carried what on your wrist?!?")

However, at this time we are authorized to begin your training and you should expect to receive a call from Delta's... (I feel like a ping pong ball, "however," "acceptable" "authorized" "go ahead anyways", call scheduling, tell them I'm on SC but I'm sobbing in the corner of my basement in the fetal position)

Truth is, this is the first time I've read past the word "Congratulations!" :D

The cheerleader magazine has Tebow and some Gator girls on the cover.
If you turn it face down on the table, you're hired.

Also remember, in the interview when they ask you how to spell "dogs" -
the correct answer is "dawgs".

I didn't see Tebow in that picture... is he in that picture?

Of course, you may have to take a stand if someone says how do you spell dogs, d-o-g-s or d-a-w-g-s? I'd stand up and say, if UGA can't spell the word dog right then thats their collective problem, I spell it dogs. :D

Stand up in your chair when you do it. It worth it.

Thinking about this, my buddy is kind of a liberal, I'd never really classify him as such but I think he says it. Anyways, he had the best line before he interviewed (and got the job): "I can be a Republican for 2 days." :D
