Trust me I want it just as much as you do, but I dont see Pinnacle giving the Colgan/Pinnacle Inc guys such a huge raise. If it happens I will be pleasently surprised but I do not expect that to happen. I will personally be happy if we even get the XJ contract at this point.

Also keep in mind its about more than just pay rates, work rules and benefits are also important. Colgan has no work rules right now besides FAR's.
If it isn't better than the Mesaba contract then no one at Mesaba will vote for it. Why would the Pinnacle pilots that have been fighting for 6 years for a real contract vote for a concessionary contract from another regional? Unless it is an industry leading contract it won't pass. Are you listening joint MEC members? If it isn't a industry leading contract don't bother!

YUCK!!!!!!!!!!! This is the problem with Colgan/Pinnacle/ Mesaba joint contract, two thirds of that group get a raise just by going to Mesaba's contract. For the love of all that is holy, MESABA PLUS OR NOTHING. The TA better have everything Mesaba currently has and a raise or you're handing management free money and screwing the guys who fought for Mesaba's contract in the first place. Please don't settle for what Mesaba currently has, it's an old contract and signing it again get you stuck with it for... oh.... TEN YEARS? or however long it will take Pinnacle to come back to the table.

I sure hope so, because I thought about leaving my sinking ship regional and make the jump to Pinnacle. I've already gotten an interview invite but I turned it down after reading through the PNCL contract (if you can even call it that). $20.47/hr to start, no major pay increase after several years, 10 days off, reducible to 8, worst reserve rules I've ever seen, and the list goes on.

Good Luck and I hope you guys can (finally) maybe get a good contract together.

Nice. Could you guys post some gouge? I'm hoping to get an interview soon. I had a friend who talked to m. Maynard and she said for me to send her a resume. I did so last Friday and she got back to me within 5 mins. I was about 10 hours short on the multi requirement and she said to update her as soon as I got it. I'm taking this as a good sign. I hit 200 multi a couple days ago and im taking the atp written on Monday so I'm going to update her then.

Here's hoping for an interview soon. Hopefully a job too to help negotiate a better contract for all 3 groups.

This is what I am talking about......we won't vote for a flat line contract. The company asked for concessions before bankruptcy to bring 200s into XJ. The pilot group said no pay cuts.....and the 200s came anyway. Don't let management fool you.....they can afford to pay us respectable wages and they will not shut down the company to avoid doing just that.

XJ contract plus some or this thing will get dragged out forever......
