Thanks for your input, but I'm an optimistic person and believe that every little thing helps...
It might help. If a computer is picking those who get the video interview how does a job fair help? I've been to a few and stood in the long lines...anyway, good luck to ya!

I agree…. been told the computer must chose the applicant. They are doing this to keep it as fair as possible. Even the son/daughter of a VP has the same chance as everyone else.

So Watson is in control? Is it a "lottery"? I haven't been having much luck with the Florida Powerball...

Any of you guys still showing an X next to the fit assessment test on your profile? I know it says to wait couple of minutes after you completed for the profile checklist to do an update, but it has been several days now. Any idea how long it takes to change over the check mark? How long before you got a response from technical support?

$64,000 question - How much do you think it will hurt by attending?
Why do the airlines participate unless they get something out of it?

They likely check a box in your app saying that you attended. Then the computer would factor that in. Just a guess though, like Sliceback said why would they bother attending.

Sounds like an excellent question for AA in the Q&A after their presentation in MIA on Friday.

If it's anything like the rep from united at the Chicago job fair, they don't let that info out as far as "does going to this job fair help my chances?" I would have to agree that it doesn't hurt.

Bori - I'm having the same problem...sorry I can't help you out, just thought I'd at least let you know that there was someone else out there having the same problem. I was going to give it a few more days and then contact the techies.
