What do you know about Ravn?

We moved on to knowledge:
What class medical do you need for commercial cert
How long is it valid?
VFR Cloud clearances
Oxygen requirements
When is filing an alternate required?
Weather mins to file alternate?
IFR lost comm procedures

Where are the 208 pilots based/domiciled?
"Any of the 9 regional hubs: Aniak, Barrow, Bethel, Deadhorse, Galena, Kotzebue, Nome, St. Mary's, Unakleet"

Typical hours flown in 14 day duty period?
"Between 6-8 hours per day. Usually flying between 0600-2130."

Which airlines do we have CASS jumpseat agreements with?
"All."

I forgot about housing on your 2 weeks on. Health insurance is offered for $250, a really good One (his words)

Awesome seeing activity on this thread again! Been checking into it on and off for a while. Got some really solid information within the last 6 months of posts. Do you guys have a better concept on when your training class could potentially be now that you've talked with them over the phone? Any idea if they'll still accept resumes/still looking for more guys?

My guess is June!. And I guess they always accept resumes. Worst case scenario they'd interview you in the future for a different ground school

Nope, still playing the waiting game! I heard we will hear back in an email. Its bad, I've been so excited to hear back that I haven't really been able to focus on much else. I know the classes won't start until June, but just knowing if I got in will allow me to relax so much more.

No news is good news I suppose! Crazy how it's only been two weeks, seems longer than that.

I guess I'm used to the waiting game. Boutique Air did a good job with me haha.

My personal golden aviation rule, proved true time and time and time again, is that *everything* in aviation will take longer than expected or planned, and this includes perception of time! :)

What happened with Boutique? Ever get a call? Did you ever work for them?

I had my first HR interview with them back in december, they said 4-6 weeks till you have the technical interview. I got the technical interview 3 weeks ago, on a Sunday, at 4pm lol. And still waiting for an email or call saying hey you're awesome we want you or you stink, go back to construction :)

that'd be awesome, but I'm working on my CFI already, zero hope for Boutique honestly, and still motivated with Hageland.

I've been waiting eagerly and checking this thread more often than I'd like to admit.

Still nothing. I guess I'm glad to see no one else has heard back either lol.
