Boutique is the other one. Hageland ground is in 4 weeks apparently, so I'm all in with Hageland. Boutique could call in 2 weeks or in another 4 months, who knows.

I didn't even apply to Boutique. I personally know 5 people who have applied there and gotten to various stages in the interview process, only to eventually be ignored by them.

JulietSierra89 04-13-2017 05:50 PM

I got mine as well, see you guys up there. We still thinking ground school will be June?

The airline I work for now used to have a nonstop to ANC from where I live, but stopped flying it last year. I'm going to have to do a two leg commute via SEA, PDX, Or LAX. I could technically go through HNL or OGG if I'm feeling adventurous 😂.

Javichu 04-14-2017 10:02 AM

That's a long commute haha. I could Move to anchorage, but getting the car up there is a pain in the ass

I nonrev 4-5 flights per week at my current job so I'm already used to the "commute life".

newpilotusa 04-14-2017 12:20 PM

Would applying right now even be worth it? It sounds like they've filled all of the positions available.

Javichu 04-14-2017 02:00 PM

I couldn't tell Honestly, but if I were you I'd apply right now. You never know...

Any word on the "flight benefits" or is it just CASS and Hageland/Ravn metal benefits?

No idea, that email should clarify a few things :)

I'll just be patient and wait for the email. First real job out of college and I get to leave the south. To say I'm excited is an understatement!

I definitely hear ya on Ameriflight... I live in Seattle, and it would be a really good fit for me, but their recruiting department don't really pick up the phone and I get 3 different answers piecing together information from other sources on what and when they are hiring EMB 120 FOs...

I have 540TT and 18 ME... should I consider applying for these guys or is it too late in the season? I would like to keep flying ME if I can help it since I just dropped $3K getting licensed in it and working towards 25 ME.

I passed the interview and recruiter told me to wait for a EMB120 slot. But who knows how much time that could take...

As I told a few other guys, apply right now, you never know man. I did the same with my ME, but think about it this way....you'd have to get it sooner or later for any 121, so the sooner the better.

skyhwk 04-18-2017 06:06 AM

So does anyone have any word if Hagey is still hiring or are they full for now?

Send in your resume, maybe the class is full, maybe not. You miss every shot you don't take.

Good luck

I passed the interview as well but they said "keep checking in about once a month until you have about 800 hours". felt like i was getting the run around, had to call recruiter multiple times to get them to give me feedback on my video interview.

hittman31 04-18-2017 08:19 PM

Anyone know who Hageland has jumpseat agreements with?

Swakid8 04-18-2017 08:30 PM

Who do I send my resume to or do I apply on Ravn website?

With the new increase in pay they have had a better lot of higher time guys to pick from. A lot of guys in Anchorage and Palmer flying more for fun have decided to go fly for a living since you can make 65-70k first year. As well as having a lot of lower 48 CFI's close to 1000 hours so for now I think it will be hard for anyone under 6-800 hours to get a call. To many guys leaving once they get the hours so I think Erin is just frustrated with low time guys all together. They don't need FO's they need captains who will actually stick around for a bit and make them money. FO's hurt the bottom line and are there to help you build time to fly for them and not to fly to 1200 hours and bolt. Someone has to be there as a PIC in order for there to be low timers. That's the problem with most of the 135's right now. Kids show up and say they will stay after the company trains them but leave anyway and it leaves a sour taste for low time builders and makes it harder and harder for the next group of 200 hr wonders.

Javichu 04-19-2017 10:06 AM

65-70k as SIC first year!?!? I guess you mean as PIC, right?

Haha yea 207 PIC. If you meet mins for the van it's more like 75-80k with the bonus. That's 15on/15off. SIC is just 200ish a day.
