The place you left to obviously wasn't the best choice...

I don't get it. It looks like Skyhigh is happy in the left seat of a C150. I think I'd be happy buzzing around in a C150 also...but not happy enough to quit my day job.

He was at Horizon and left to go to some startup carrier that flew 757s that failed in short order.

He trolls the forums preaching his woes to whoever might or might not listen.

Haha now this is funny... I've been going back and forth with him in the 135 forum on his support of Pay to play at Key Lime AIr for the right seat it's quite hilarious

Nothing against Skyhigh as I'm sure he means well!

We all have different needs and perspectives of the situation. I have spent over two decades studying the industry. Perhaps one day once you have gained more life experience you will come to understand my position.

Life is risk. I could have stayed at Horizon Air and been stuck living what to me was a nightmare or tried for my dreams. At the time I went to National Airlines it was the envy of the industry. Hindsight is 20/20. I don't know who you work for but most of our fate falls to luck.

I am happy and that is my point. There is a life outside of aviation and it is pretty great. People have choices and should carefully consider the alternatives. My mission here is to provide the counterpoint.

It is incorrect to assume that because my opinions are in opposition to most here that my overall outlook is negative. In fact it is quite the contrary.

My sons and I went to see him and my wife today and he is getting much better. Hopefully he can come home this weekend, but he will have a feeding tube, oxygen and therapy for a few months later. He gave us all quite a scare. My wife has been by his side at the hospital for five weeks now. No fun.

Thanks for asking.

I believe the National Airlines that you're mistaking the one you went to for that actually was the envy of the industry ceased to exist after merging with Pan Am 30 years ago.

I'm sorry to hear about your son... best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery.
