QX/Air Group management is completely obsessed with their on-time departure numbers, so adding more flying into SEA is going to make those even worse, especially when you figure in remote parking and the various construction debacles SEA has in the works right now.

They have to add more flying in SEA in order to block Delta from getting more gates.

A fair number of pairings will be shifted to Paine as soon as their terminal is operational.

It is true AS will be adding flights to Paine. However, the additional flights in and out of SEA have nothing to do with Paine. They are solely part of an AG strategy to slow the Delta takeover at SEA. If AG doesn’t cram those flights into SEA, Delta will get even more gates.

Yeah everyone knows QX will fly out of pae. I'm trying to figure out what you mean by "shifting pairings." Because it's unlikely PAE will be a base (even a co-base or satellite base) The way pairings are built means that many of these routes can be built into the schedule out of SEA (or PDX).

There was that survey about PAE sent to the pilot group about a month ago. Wonder how much feedback was sent in and if it will really make a difference.

They will do whatever the cheapest option is for the company and use the free information they've gathered to bargain against us in the future.

Agreed. The cheapest option will be to cobase people there. I don't want to see that.
