As of now, expect 3 to 6 months on FO reserve for the ERJ. And that's SEA. If you bid PDX ERJ FO, expect a longer reserve stint closer to a year. PAE is super short on ERJ FOs as no one is bidding it right now. You could hold a line instantly if you bid it out of training.
The amount of flying while on reserve varies- 30 to 50 hours. Once you hold a line, the usual 75-80 hours without picking up extra flying from open time.
We are due 4 more ERJs this year. 1 in May, the rest TBA.

It's a nightmare...there are buses, but it's about 2-2.5hrs with a couple changes.

Any recent hires been assigned a class date? If so, what was your interview date? I interviewed in early Feb and waiting to hear more so I can do some planning for the summer if I’m not going to be in class yet. Hoping PAE stays the way it is right now. I’d love to get that out of training.

Purely speculating, but I'm guessing because it's a new domicile/satellite base, pilots in general are waiting to see how the schedules shake out. And how they would fall in relative base seniority for bidding purposes. There are currently about 13 CAs and 10 FOs and I believe 30 and 30 is the target.

So ya all should not bid PAE satellite base. If the company wants that 30 and 30 they will make it a regular crew base. Contrary to SEA BCP satellite base is not like a real base. Satellite base is way cheaper to operate and maintain than a real crew base. Quit enabling the company to do things cheaper off the pilots back.
So from a pilot's perspective, what makes a satellite base (PAE say) worse than if it were a real base?

Good advice, unfortunately 20 years and an entire industry too late.
