Yeah, quite familiar with that...was one of those furloughed from a regional in 2008. Just getting back in now, and got multiple calls as soon as I applied.

Another option for the NW, and you could get in on the ground floor!
BUT, ironic - since you would be flying Boeings....their pay is worse than a number of regional airlines right now.

Except it would take 7 or 8 years for me to recuperate the lost pay from going there. Hopefully there won't be people beating down their door for those rates. They are pretty atrocious.

You would think that, but a lot my buddies are thinking of applying just to get out of there current situation, pay cut and all. The ability to fly a 737 I guess... I know I wouldn’t do it at those rates that’s for sure

Out of curiosity, other than Alaska, which carriers do most Horizon guys end up at?

I personally have seen people go to United, and Southwest. Personally I am going to Frontier.
