Been here several years now in the Q. With decent bidding power, the schedule planning dpt is still really decreasing the QOL. Less lines being built , the company is putting more people on reserve. The decent quality flying in Nov is exclusively on the weekends (family and home life doesnt seem to matter to this company unless youre on leave- they dont have to pay you anyway). Otherwise you're banished to low credit trips flying several legs a day. Last pilot chat mangment seems pleased that applicants are waiting months and holding out for an interview with Horizon. LMAO bless their hearts. if they only knew.

I enjoyed the flying (Q400) when I got it, but was on reserve and getting about 4 hours a month of flight time.
Not worth the commute and crash pad 18 days a month just to sit.

And there's 200 FOs. I heard we have FOs going back to the sim to get recurrent landings. For those who dont know, that's because they couldn't get 3 landings in 90 days. At a regional.

Well hopefully the next pathways hire pushes us along. I’m guessing that’s why we are so stacked right now, air group must know of a big hiring push (maybe once the max is ungrounded?).
