Plot out over the past 5 years how many flights we operate in August, then explain how it's not stready growth. I think you'll find 10 flights is less significant than you think.

It reduces the rate of growth but in absolute terms we're still operating more than ever, same could be said the past few years.

Have you ever tried to land in the daytime?!? It's pretty spooky...

Not sure what's obvious about them being done with the 190? Higher reliability % than the bus? High RASM on the high frequency routes?

I'm in the camp of anything could happen, but other than the obvious inept management... nothing is obvious.

Over here at F9, we have heard several times of Blue on the property and possible purchase offers to buy out/purchase F9 over the past 6-10 months.
Any thoughts or rumors on your end??

Looks like this is going to be standard operating procedure for cheapass companies.

The rumor of the week is UAL again with announcement in August--It'll go back to SWA in September and Frontier will be our Fall merger rumor.

My flights are never scheduled during the daytime, but lately with all the ridiculous delays I've actually logged a few day landings. Sucks... I really need some more Airbus Night time!

Isn't that just a logical result of slowing aircraft deliveries and tapered block hours?

Not with the way their attrition is . . . they almost always hire like gangbusters. To suddenly cancel all classes is VERY strange.
