Could be worth it, if they can whipsaw their group against us and use that in negotiations.

Default What Is Going On?

While an unlikely option, a friend at Hawaiian says that "someone better buy us soon." Apparently Uniteds giving them a run for their money and increasing their direct flights betwaiin HI and the west coast, and Hawaiians having trouble keeping up.

We would continue negotiating our contract. There would be no whipsaw.

I'm gonna base this on ineptitude. I think they grossly miscalculated staffing. They had no idea how the runway construction would affect the operation. Then the compounding weather events crushed what was left. A disaster is born when natural events meet stupidity. Now they're trying to mop up the mess by canceling flights and creating a buffer a month out.

I'm sure we're properly staffed for sept and oct. Though.

Wow. Looks like you guys were right. They almost admitted this disaster has been their fault. Then they blamed it on construction.

The real problem with this place is that email should've been sent out weeks ago. Instead they let rumors fly and attitudes sour while they failed to even address the short comings of the operation.

Robin needs a massive house cleaning in middle management if this company.

And there ya go.

Management finally admits it's a mess and accepts no responsibility. Our business partners have dropped the ball, and we need those of you who no longer give a *Beechnut* to step up and help.

WOW.

I could use a "we slowed hired because you guys are working your days off" email followed by another "OH NO WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PILOTS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come fly!" email.

Plan your commutes accordingly.

And this is where I would like to see a union email call them out on stuff like this. I think our emails need to talk about the massive RSAs the Jr mans the daily IROPS the late DROs every day the crap ontime and demand more than that jet to the point, we need to hear from our CEO.
We should be pounding away at this right now.
