Wow. Looks like you guys were right. They almost admitted this disaster has been their fault. Then they blamed it on construction.
The real problem with this place is that email should've been sent out weeks ago. Instead they let rumors fly and attitudes sour while they failed to even address the short comings of the operation.
Robin needs a massive house cleaning in middle management if this company.

How about cabin refresh? Kind of "slowed down" that part of the equation that would require the additional FA. I think that's part of the internal workings that management has put on hold as they work out details of the merger or acquisition. The CEO needs to be very quiet as not to compromise a deal or leak details.
And to further the point, why have the CFO "retire" only to hired back on as a consultant for 12 months? Also, the other house cleaning and management changes (4 months ago) are all to restructure "new talent" that can easily slide to the side when the new company restructures leadership.
A Hawaiian merger would be powerful. It would essentially create a global airline and open the door with capital and equipment for jblue's East Coast entry to Europe. Now you have a global airline.

Hawaiian makes no sense without a west coast base. What does serving the pacific bring jetblue without west coast feed and a European route structure to compliment it?
Alaska I would believe. Where people come up with this Hawaiian thing just baffles me.
Now Hawaiian with Alaska would make it doable but a 3 way is as likely as your wife bring you one home too.

You'd connect the dots between HAL and B6 to create BlueHawaiian!!!!
