I'm saying a new contract will help, but we fall short on many other valuable metrics that a CBA won't fix.

You still confused?
Does Southwest have trouble attracting pilots with an all narrow body fleet?

Always confused when you try talking BD. Maybe it's just your constant negativity that doesn't compute with me.

Oh, and I agreed with you about the metrics and issues JB will have competing going forward, but of course you chose to just be negative in your post. Again.

Keep being you though, brother. Must be a fun household you live in.

They did and had trouble retaining them before their new contract passed which was why their 1000hrs pic and type rating requirments went away.

You know you are a smart guy. So you are either having a hard time with reading comprehension or you are ignoring what I said to score points. (It's the second of the two.)

I didn't say all is good.
I said because this is the internet and it's all right here.

The only time that will change is years and years from now when the majors will be finished with retirements and we will be starting ours. They will be stagnant and we should have the movement up the list. It’s all cyclical.
Did you see the part where I said after that you can't compete?
Dude I literally agree with you and you still argue with me.
Correct even if we have a standard contract we won't be able to compete with the big guys until their list stagnates years down the road and we start to retire ours. Do you need me to type it again?

A CBA will help but JetBlue is what it is as I have said over and over(which you ignore)
An east coast airline with a young pilot group and for now a slow march up the list.

I'm telling you and I'm honestly trying to not be rude but you kind of **** me off. You and a few others on here just freaking complain all the time and nothing nothing is ever positive.

If I said we are getting more planes you would say but how many are we returning.

If I say we will get a good CBA you say are you sure or it will take years and years.

If I was to talk about our new service to MSP ( I know you like that)
You would say yeah but it's only 3 flights and they will all be late.

Look I don't care but just do me a favor if you are going to say I said something make sure I said it.

Other than that if you are really this unhappy with JetBlue you better have your app out there. I'm not saying if you don't like it leave but at this point and with what you post I don't know why you would bother to stick around. It's not a good way to go through life.

Actually looking at your other post you seem positive about our chances with MSP so maybe there is hope

Again I get it JetBlue hasn't worked the way WE you and me thought and it can be disappointing to see wasted potential but if someone agrees with you there is no need to argue.

Joe, I made the point that we are several metrics short of a great career compared to the big 3 and that a CBA won't address all of our career short comings.

You agreed, but said that when our retirements start we will be able to compete.

I said thats not for 15 years, and asked how we will compete for the next 15 years?

You said the contract.

That's in a nutshell what I took from the last several posts between us.

That's where I disagree with you.

I HAVE to ask, what exactly is there to be positive about right NOW with JB?

Why do you care if I look at our current compensation, benefits, work rules, corporate vision and corporate execution and see nothing to be content with?

What are you satisfied with right now?

Yes. SW has lost a lot of new hires and line pilots to legacies in the last few years.

We offer much less than SWA. Soooo.

Please keep this forum classy. If nothing else, this industry has proven to be completely unpredictable. If it were easy to navigate the perfect career path this forum wouldn’t exist. What is weighed heavily for one may not matter for another. Respect the fact everyone has their own path.

Ive heard some negatives about reserve rules. What would make them better in a new contract? What makes them so bad now?
