Good point. Guess that situation must be hard, claiming to be so unhappy here, yet not wanting to apply to SWA.

You guys do know how seniority, longevity, and pay scales work, right? Just because someone would be happier elsewhere doesn’t mean it makes sense to go there. Especially if they’ve been at JetBlue for any length of time. Call it pot committed or stuck or content or whatever you want. It’s just not as easy as saying, “Southwest is better, so I’ll just go there.” Especially when the pay difference isn’t huge. QOL, ease of commute, pay decrease, training footprint, domiciles, etc all factor into that decision.

After 3 years, I’m mostly doing island and transcon 1 leg/day 2 days. I can’t even imagine going to Yonited at this point after seeing the kind of flying a 3 year bus driver does over there.

Some midwest - SFO/EWR/IAH/ORD/DEN turns and short west coast hops. Kinda like our LGB flying.
