So the senior guys stay on the regular list in front of you, and the junior hires go to the LR category so they DON'T go beneath you make you to make you more senior in seat.

If it makes them have to hire more and upgrade more it’s good for everyone. No question about that.

Does the CBA address what would happen if not enough guys and gals actually bid over to this exclusive, high quality flying? A cursory glance through the sections that are and are not effective don't reveal anything.

Same thing that happens anytime pilots don't bid a category and position; it goes to new hires.

MCO A320 CA could, in theory, go to a new hire if nobody bids it

There will be enough guys bidding this flying! I flown with a few that can’t wait until we go to Europe.... if it ever happens. We’re discussing something that is at least 2 years away still....

Back to the original thread... guesses how junior Capt will go on this bid?

It helps if your seniority moves (you become more senior percentage wise) in your ***desired aircraft/seat***. Otherwise it's just numbers on a piece of digital paper.

But just by requiring more upgrades your seat should improve.
