A little bit of ready reserve, or maybe the opportunity to wait for an assignment during a 12 hr RAP instead of 10 hrs. Or even the ability to operate a flight up to 16 hours after you started reserve. What’s the formula again? Table B + 4 hours? AA is 12 days off in a 30 day month... we know Jetblue pilots like to work more.

Don't be a fool... Airport ready reserve sucks, and no one should have to do it. Is 25.R ****ty? Remains to be seen, got some good things and probably some bad in it... but advocating just getting stapled to a legacy in a merger and getting ready reserve as part of the process really isn't what we want.

You TOTALLY missed his point. He was saying our RSV rules are pretty good. Better than most in a few ways.

Wow, that inability to recognize sarcasm must make your daily life difficult.

with a double Jan 1 2020 effective date. One from the last quarterly bid and one from the annual bid. I think that effective date will trigger pay for those that have not been to the schoolhouse prior to the effective date? Thoughts.......

The last quarterly bid was Dec 2nd. So there’s a month gap in effective date.

There is a carveout in the CBA: “same Base, Status, effective date, and training curriculum.”

So I don’t think anyone who has different effective dates (between this bid with 1/1 effective date and last bid) will get it if they otherwise would.

Also, under this carveout, someone junior going E90FO to E90CA could get a short course and be on CA pay before someone senior to him who has to do the 320FO to E90CA with no bypass pay.

The carveout I think will limit the amount of bypass pay doled out. Just my opinion though.

Anyone want to make a wild guess what the most junior Captain will be on the 5th and final bid window?

190CA- #3525
320CA- #2900

I’m thinking a ton of people actually didn’t understand how this bid worked and are going to get stuff they don’t want.

My prediction is a lot of ****ed off people get exactly what they bid for.
