It up to us to tailor their uniform?
They own it. Not me. Thier plan is for the group to handle it on our own for them. It’s the model. Not only with uniforms but almost everything else. Stop enabling!!! |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Second year, I bought two new shirts and had them tailored out of my uniform allowance. I get all the arguments about this not being "free", but I used the money for what it was intended. I don't buy luggage I don't need and hawk it on Ebay as some may do. Roll over what you can, but it becomes "use it or lose it" money. I'm playing with house money. |

For me, I just prefer to wear something that fits well. It makes the day easier to get through. If you don’t tailor your stuff for this reason, that’s fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
When any pilot looks like crap it hurts the profession.

Either way it’s a moot point. With the regular uniform we look more like TSA agents than pilots and with the overcoat, you are just a random passenger in the boarding area.

Black slacks & suit jacket. White shirt. Blue stripes on jacket sleeves and blue stripes on black epaulets. Thin blue stripes on black tie.
Done. But, we're not supposed to look like pilots. So that will never happen. |

Not only do our current uniforms look ridiculous, they have the quality of 3rd world sweat shop. It’s embarrassing. Oh, and God forbid you need a blazer in a Tall, that’s gonna be 9 month back order...at best. I don’t know what’s worse, our joke of a vendor or the company for allowing this atrocity. |

Our values, character and integrity are a weakness to this type of management style. JetBlue used to supply a quality uniform that fit and tailored them. Now they don’t. Solution? They pilot group will do it. Pilots enabling management has a greater affect on the profession than my ballon power blue shirt. |
