Uniforms?

Yes, those shirts came out right before the TSA had new shirts, which just so happened to be almost the exact same color. They were awful for so many reasons. We had lots of guys with goatees, long hair, dreadlocks. It was (is?) a motley crew.

Can’t tell if you’re being serious or not. My sister in law worked for you guys in the mid -2000’s, and I did a ton of pass-riding back then when I was a corporate guy. Never saw dreadlocks or long hair, but saw a few goats.

Which is what they are counting on.
Our values, character and integrity are a weakness to this type of management style.
JetBlue used to supply a quality uniform that fit and tailored them.
Now they don’t. Solution? They pilot group will do it.
Pilots enabling management has a greater affect on the profession than my ballon power blue shirt.

If you want to look like or act like a circus clown expect to get paid peanuts. ALPA guidance is to look like a commensurate professional at all times.

How does looking like a slob in the uniform that they have picked out and supply give them negotiating power?

Yep, I flew with some long-ish hair guys. I only saw the dreads once in the JFK terminal. Goats were pretty common

Remember the plastic shirts. Those were “high tech”. Guys went out on bought their own. I just wore the old shirt
That is the model.
Let’s all fix it! Ha ha ha ha ha!
You just don’t understand that is great leadership and management in their minds.
This issue has been going on for well over a decade.
When are the rain coats arriving! They said they were at the same time “allowing” us to bring our own.
What was the real solution?
