Read about halfway down for the details of the coach service. There are other articles about the business class (mint service) out there as well with comparisons to other transatlantic business class. Sounds like the food is probably the biggest differentiator. And maybe the free booze and WiFi.

In fact, for me personally, a single aisle plane to me is much more inconvenient for longer flights than dual aisle. Less impediments to using the aisle as the flight proceeds for long distances.
The food looked comparable. Free drinks in Econ is Delta standard as well. That was also the inaugural flight so of course everything is dialed in. I even found it funny at the bottom of that article was an add for the Delta AMEX, or that may just have been targeted to me.
I wish JB luck in their endeavors, I just don't see how it's "way better" than what is normally offered on that route. Now maybe the price point is significantly lower, that may make it a much better value. I haven't done the research to know how much they are charging.
There is no doubt that the NYC-LON market has been a moneymaker over the years, stiff competition, but hearty rewards to those who prevail. That is why there have been more new entrants in to that market over the last decade than any other city pair.
Best of luck to us all, having Norwegian Air, and WOW airlines out of the market for a bit should help everyone make a little more money.

I've recently experienced both JB and AA 321.
AA had better entertainment (video games for my son), better map display, and nicer screens.
JB was better in seat comfort, food, food choices (my first two choices were unavailable on the AA menu), and friendlier service.
While both are good products, I would choose JB over AA for a transcontinental.

We were discussing NYC-LONDON service being "way better on JB than their competition".
I was asking about info as to what makes it such a superior product on a single aisle jet than the multitude of companies operating dual aisle service.

Yes I thought AA didn't even have inflight entertainment in some of their planes, haven't been on a domestic AA flight personally in years.

The combination of:
-Free Wifi
-5 FAs for 134 passengers at capacity.
-Very good and fresh food (even in economy) that you customize on the IFE before takeoff.
-Free unlimited spirits in addition the normal wine and beer.
-Latest IFE system
-Very quiet engine noise levels in the cabin
Lacking (for the moment)- lounge access for J Class.. haven’t gotten the chance to ride in Mint yet for comparison.
But for the economy passenger it’s better than BA, AA, DL and EI all of whom I’ve crossed with in 2019. Just one person’s experience, perhaps I just got lucky on my flight!
