While I agree with Blue that the pay rates are way too low. I really like some of the work rule improvements that Alaska received in the TA. Section 25A (delays) and 25y (reassignments) would be nice improvements for us. Glad to se UAL & AA turn theirs down.

I agree and since we aren’t getting any work rules or QOL improvements then it has to be better.

This bears repeating. We most likely aren’t getting any improvements besides pay so the pay increase needs to reflect that.

You can say that again.

The only thing that was supposed to happen today was the unions opener. Maybe they ended up doing a little more.

Word on the street is the company wants this done quickly.

if they want it done quickly and with only pay it better be 30%. Just to get up to Alaska and not have certain gains they got in their contract is unacceptable

well as Alaska will only be about 12 percent more then us in 2023 I don’t think that will be hard to beat. I agree with the 30 percent but I’m hoping for more then 12 percent for the first year.

12% for a maxed out CA, yes, but it’s 17% for year 2 CA’s and 20% for year 2 FO’s. That’s getting there, but much under 25% should be an automatic no, especially for the 190 guys getting paid far below the going 717 rate at DL/HA.
