Nothing to see here folks. Once again, Spirit/JB would have been a disaster for consumers, killing competition and harming the market, but let's continue to look the other way in every other industry!

There was no reason our merger should have been denied based off precedent. That DOJ was so hypocritical. Oh well, we will die on the vine now, too. 👍. Way to go retired judge.

Different administration, different focus. I'd wager a merger would go through this time if you can get it done before Jan 2029.

The merged JetBlue would’ve been the fifth largest carrier, and yet less than half the size of number four….
Yup, definitely would’ve been problematic…. 🙄
Price paid aside, I still believe the merged entity would’ve been a great option for the consumer & viable competitor to the big four. Oh well…

Yea it’s absolutely terrible here right now. No growth, no movement, only a few East Coast bases. LA just got chopped in half and probably won’t be around in 2 years. On the bright side, all our Captains have a good amount of experience lol 😆

I think he was referring to upgrading at Delta, chief. Although upgrade time at JetBlue has to be around 10 years too.
