I do not disagree with anything you stated but at some point a morally balanced company has to decide whether a violent criminal is worth the lawsuits and bad press when the statistics bear out. This individual knew which carrier had a weak HR department and targeted it.

Any employee of jetblue should be fearful of their safety and for the future of the carrier.
i won’t ever share a cockpit with him… if I see him as a pilot on a deadhead I won’t board it.

I suppose letting him jumpseat on your aircraft is TOTALLY out of the question? Particularly the actual jumpseat?

Was he in class when they said TBNT?

Yeah, I can’t imagine anyone would feel comfortable flying with him. Hard pass from me, too. DH or otherwise. Question is who do we get on about this?

You know that noise a dial-up modem makes? My brain did that when I read your post. Worst part is I think I get it.

It’s called a rhetorical question. The expected response was “no way in Hell” or words to that effect.

Just so I'm clear, if I go to a therapist because my parents were killed in a fiery car wreck, and a therapist thinks I might be a little bit sad, I may lose my medical and never work again. But this guy, who committed a crime with a very high recidivism rate, s going to be locked in a cockpit sometimes with a women pilot, or FA, who he may disagree with, and he will have a dangerous weapon in his hands and JB be like "okay."

It's not really a threat to say I won't non-rev, but I definitely won't let my family or friends fly B6 until that guy's gone.

There is working to get former felons back into the workforce, I'm one of the strongest advocates for that, but a cockpit is not the place for a violent felon.

My guess is HR. They need to see as many emails as possible from the employees about how unsafe this is. Clearly management doesn’t care.
