Looking like 7 -8 I believe now. I know it’s a long time but it’s offset by stability and hopefully a good contract in the future

I've proof read the application about 10 times before submitting so I'm honestly not sure. I just read it again a few times and the only errors I can potentially think of are:

- I have less than 12 months validity left on my US passport (but more than 6 as required on careers page), the option on the application form asks for 12 though, so I had to tick no
- My grades are not in GPA format so I had to write a percentage format as it's the only thing that would be accepted in the field
- I don't live within 90 miles of a JetBlue base, my permanent address is in Montreal, Canada
- I have no Instructor time, I went the EASA route for my flight training and have been in the airlines ever since I've had 150h of flight
- I don't have a JetBlue Pilot Recommendation as I do not know anyone who works at JetBlue

Those are the only things that come up, like I said before I meet all requirements, have no failures, have a lot of recent flying time and am A320 rated with an unrestricted ATP.

Any ideas?

Someone may be better at answering this than me. I personally don't think it has to do with a Jetblue Pilot Recommendation. While it does indeed help I don't think that would be why you'd get an automatic no.
This is me totally guessing and shooting off the hip. It probably has to do with either the

1. passport not having 12 months, especially if it's listed as a requirement and not preferred.
2. Possibly the permanent address being in Canada. Which would shock me if you're a US Citizen and have the right to work here and thats what you said on the application.
3. The GPA format. If your resume reflects how its different scoring I'd think that would be enough clarity.

Nobody should be going to any airline to satisfy someone else. Enjoy SWA and that god-awful, sharp, cramped, ancient and uncomfortable 737!

Not going through an education system that doesn't follow a GPA standard shouldn't be a factor. Several pilots here have an education from abroad. What you filled into the field however may have been a factor. Would the system have allowed you to leave it blank?
more likely is keeping an address outside of the US for the purpose of the application.

JetBlue isn’t unique in this instance. Delta airlines and American Airlines will hire Felons, if it is a class two felony, This class of felonies is termed interim disqualifying criminal offenses. These are ones for which felons were convicted within seven years of the date of the application, or if the applicant was released from prison after conviction within five years of the date of the application.

Crimes in this category include:

Illegal possession, use, sale, purchase, or other dealing with a firearm
Extortion
Dishonesty
Fraud
Money laundering
Bribery
Smuggling
Distribution or possession of a controlled substance
Kidnapping
Aggravated assault
Robbery

Application at JB and WN for the past year. (Hoping for WN)
This summer got JB phone recording interview followed immediately by in person. Went well I thought, though during the HR interview I pointed out that it was kinda tacky interviewing 10 applicants in the same room at the same time literally talking over each other asking the same questions lol. Not surprised I got a TBNT letter a week later. Wasn’t too upset cause it was more of a practice interview for my eventual WN interview.

A month later for the WN interview, went amazingly, job offer followed. Start training in January.

Was an interesting experience to say the least but the interview process seems to be a jumble, trying to cram too much too fast. Will be interesting to see how things at blue pan out.

So the moral of the story is , don’t overthink it. The right fit will fall in your lap. If you apply and don’t get it, something better may be on the horizon.
Interesting I would have thought the moral was don’t interview at places you don’t really want to be at, with a bonus advice of if you insult the interviewer it probably won’t turn out well.

Not the moral at all, an interview is a two way interaction. Maybe getting out there and interviewing at multiple companies will give you a better idea of how the company thinks and works. (This isn’t my first rodeo, I have 20 years of executive management in the energy industry).

Take from it what you will…
